Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor Nurse specializing in Medical Surgical (MS) nursing is sought for a healthcare facility located in Tennessee. This position involves working in a float pool environment across multiple Medical Surgical units, with an emphasis on adaptable scheduling to meet staffing needs. The role is scheduled for night shifts, requiring flexibility and a minimum of two years of previous travel nursing experience.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certifications (BLS), Tennessee license or compact license on file at time of submission, minimum of 2 years of experience, prior travel experience
• Specialty: Medical Surgical Floor (MS)
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a relevant healthcare role, travel experience preferred
• Float: No float responsibilities required
• Experience: 0 years minimum required
• Additional Information: Orientation dates are scheduled for 8/31, 9/14, 9/21, and 9/28, with no orientation on 9/7 due to Labor Day. Candidates must be flexible to meet the scheduling needs of the unit and must have a valid TN license or compact license at the time of submission. EMR system used is Cerner. Scrubs navy are required. Candidates may float within up to five Medical Surgical units and to the Emergency Room as needed. Weekends are required. The unit makes its own schedule. The hiring process involves an interview with IVS and an offer from management.
