Description

Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse in Arlington, Texas. This position involves providing high-risk obstetric and neonatal care within a busy Labor and Delivery department. The role requires experienced professionals who are capable of managing complex obstetric scenarios and utilizing advanced fetal monitoring skills, contributing to the well-being of mothers and infants during labor and delivery.

Job Details:

Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 48 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Certifications including BLS, ACLS, NRP; relevant education and experience of at least 1 year in high-risk obstetric and neonatal care, including fetal monitoring; must have a minimum of 1 year travel experience in high-risk OB Labor & Delivery.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with high-risk obstetric cases and high-volume care; previous OB Department experience; familiarity with magnesium and insulin drips, circulating, and scrubbing procedures.
Additional Information: The unit supports a high-risk obstetric environment with 23 beds, staffed by qualified RNs and CNAs, utilizing Meditech electronic medical records. Staff is experienced, and the unit emphasizes teamwork, busy schedules, and advanced technology use.
