Description
Job Summary:
The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) profession in Indianapolis, Indiana, is currently seeking qualified Registered Nurses (RNs) for day shift positions. This role involves providing advanced patient care to critically ill adult patients within a dedicated unit known for handling complex cases such as sepsis, respiratory failure, and other serious health conditions. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment focused on delivering high-quality critical care.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience, comprehensive assessment skills, experience caring for septic patients, and mechanically ventilated patients with hemodynamic monitoring devices.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) and proficiency in Epic electronic medical records
- Float: Floating to other inpatient areas may be required when the home unit has low census
- Additional Information: Orientation includes completion of required modules on the first day, Epic training if needed, and one day of unit-specific orientation.
