A registered nurse specializing in Medical Surgical (MS) on a night shift in Carbondale, Illinois. The position offers a scheduled rotation every other weekend, with flexibility for holiday requests, across a facility featuring 35 private patient rooms and dedicated nursing stations.

Job Details:

• Location: Carbondale, Illinois
• Shift Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS); No minimum years of experience required; location in Illinois preferred
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a surgical or medical-surgical department; Strong patient care skills; Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Additional Information: The role involves working in a floor with a 1:5-6 nurse-to-patient ratio on night shifts. The facility is equipped with a shift supervisor and patient care technicians. The position may require collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and adherence to facility protocols.
