Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Nurse in Carbondale, Illinois. This position involves providing high-quality patient care in a specialized environment that bridges acute hospital care and traditional inpatient settings. The role requires applying advanced nursing skills and adhering to facility standards to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Job Details:
- Shift Time: Nights
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, at least 1 year of ICU and progressive care experience, certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIH Stroke Scale). Experience with chest tubes, trauma surgeries, and related procedures.
