Job Summary:
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) specialist position is located in a healthcare facility offering interventional cardiology services. The role involves supporting the Cath Lab team in performing cardiac procedures, including peripheral and coronary interventions, in a fast-paced acute care setting. The scheduled shifts are primarily days, with a requirement for extended hours and participation in call rotations.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Four 10-hour days per week, with 10-11 call shifts per month, including weekends and holidays.
• Required Qualifications: Valid licensure to submit; minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab; certifications including ACLS (American Heart Association) and BLS (American Heart Association); WV license or ARRT for Rad Techs; experience with IABP, IVUS, Acist injector, and familiarity with EPIC charting system.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Autoinjector systems and handling of intra-aortic balloon pumps.
• Additional Information: Candidates must have experience with cardiac-specific procedures such as PCI, device implants, and adult peripheral or coronary interventions. Floating to non-invasive cardiovascular units to start IVs may be required. The work involves operating x-ray equipment, managing medications in the pharmacy, and providing patient care during high-acuity procedures. Roles include circulating and monitoring during procedures, with responsibilities extended to medication administration and patient safety.
