Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Medical Surgical Nurse in Willits, California. This role involves delivering coordinated nursing care for a patient or group of patients based on established standards of care and the nursing process. The position includes supervising and directing various levels of nursing staff and coordinating patient care within a collaborative team environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shift, 0700-1930, 36 to 48 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN), Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from approved vendor, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from approved vendor, valid Drivers license or permit as applicable, COVID-19 vaccination and/or booster as required by the organization
• Preferred Qualifications: Acute care facility experience, PALS certification
• Additional Information: The role involves collecting relevant patient health data, analyzing assessment information, developing and implementing care plans, evaluating progress, collaborating with healthcare team members, providing patient and family education, participating in discharge planning, and delegating duties appropriately. Candidates should be prepared to work on a 12-hour day shift and indicate if they have Cerner experience.
