Job Summary
The ICU (Intensive Care Unit) Nurse position is located in a magnet-designated acute care hospital in BELLEVILLE, Illinois. This full-time position involves night shifts and provides critical care to adult patients requiring advanced respiratory and cardiovascular support. The role demands clinical expertise in ICU procedures and patient management within a fast-paced environment.

Job Details

• Include Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Include Required Qualifications: Certifications in ACLS, BLS, NIHSS; at least 2 years of ICU experience; high school diploma or equivalent; Illinois license in hand at time of submittal; minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in ICU; and experience charting in the Epic system
• Include Preferred Qualifications: Experience assisting with line insertions, intubation, hypothermia protocols, CRRT / CVVHD, and IABP
• Include Float: Float: Float rotation may be required, within scope to meet facility needs, including ICU and IMCU units
• Include Additional Information: Assist with line insertion, intubation, hypothermia protocols, CRRT / CVVHD, and IABP. Must be able to interpret dysrhythmias and manage post-cardiac surgery patients. No ECMO experience required. Successful candidates will be expected to follow facility protocols and maintain compliance with all certifications and schedules.
