Description
Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) position in Springfield, Missouri. This role involves providing direct patient care in a busy urban trauma center with a Level 1 trauma designation. The RN will utilize clinical expertise to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for all age groups in a high-acuity environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights, 1900-0700; minimum of 48 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Current RN license (eligible or licensed in Missouri), BLS, ACLS, PALS from American Heart Association, TNCC, NIHSS (must obtain prior to start), 2 years of experience in Emergency Room or 2 years in a Level 2 Trauma facility, with at least 1 year in a Level 1 trauma center.
- Preferred Qualifications: Trauma and pediatric experience, high patient volumes (200+ patients/day), high acuity background.
- Float: None
- Additional Information: The RN must be determined, decisive, and flexible. Night shift orientation occurs on day shift, with availability required for the entire week. RTO requests must be made in advance and are not permitted during the first week of assignment. The position requires physical activity including standing, walking, lifting, and pushing up to 50 pounds.
