Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Supervisor/Charge Nurse opportunity available in Hamburg, Iowa. This position supports a medical-surgical and emergency care environment, providing leadership and clinical oversight during night shifts. The role involves applying expertise in emergency and medical-surgical nursing to deliver high-quality patient care, while supervising staff and ensuring adherence to hospital protocols.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM 7:00 AM), minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), and TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certifications; 1 year of related experience; Bachelors degree in Nursing or equivalent; located within the state of Iowa.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous supervisory or charge nurse experience in emergency or medical-surgical units; additional OB/Newborn stabilization training or education.
• Additional Information: This role requires a working supervisor capable of managing both ER and medical-surgical staff, with the flexibility to apply their time across multiple units as needed, following facility operational standards. Candidate submissions are currently open.
