Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical/Surgical (Med/Surg) and Telemetry (TELE) at a healthcare organization in Norwich, CT. This position involves providing high-quality patient care in a telemetry and stroke-focused environment, with a minimum of three years of experience in tele, progressive care unit (PCU), or intensive care unit (ICU) settings. The role requires ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certification, and experience working in tele and stroke care environments.

Job Details:

• Location: Norwich, CT
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shift hours, minimum of 36 hours per week, with shifts typically from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in ACLS, NIHSS, and telemedicine or stroke care experience; at least 3 years of experience in tele, PCU, or ICU float within skillset; flexibility to cancel up to 3 shifts per contract; sick calls must be made up within the schedule period.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with stroke patients and telemetry monitoring.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The candidate must be able to work nights and adhere to scheduling requirements, ensuring coverage for patient care responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
