Job Summary:
The labor and delivery specialty position is located in Florence, Alabama. This role involves providing clinical care within the labor and delivery unit of the healthcare facility, supporting postpartum and obstetric patients. The assignment begins on July 27, 2026, with a schedule of dayshift hours and a minimum of 48 hours per week.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shift hours, minimum of 48 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Current certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or Advanced Life Support - Obstetrics (ALS-OB), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM), Basic Life Support (BLS); a minimum of 3 years of experience in labor and delivery; flexibility to work in postpartum care; location in the United States; no minimum experience requirement for this particular position
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with fetal monitoring and assessment, emergency response, postpartum care, and time management skills
• Additional Information: The unit has 9 beds, with patient-to-provider ratios of 1:1. Equipment includes EHR systems such as Centricity and Meditech. The role requires adaptability, being a team player, attention to detail, stamina, strong communication skills, and empathy. Scrub code is Ceil Blue, with guidelines against non-compliant or offensive attire.
