Job Summary
Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Nurse Hackensack, NJ. This role involves evaluating patients and assisting physicians with post-surgical patient care. The nurse will develop, implement, and coordinate individualized plans of care, perform therapeutic nursing interventions, and advocate for evidence-based practices. The position requires providing patient-centric care aligned with professional nursing standards in a hybrid ICU, pre-operative, and PACU environment.

Job Details

• Schedule: 10:00 AM - 8:30 PM, (40 hours per week).
• Required Qualifications: ASN degree; NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license; BLS - AHA; ACLS - AHA; PALS; Telemetry certification; at least 1 year of experience in an acute hospital setting; hybrid nursing skills in ICU, Preoperative, and PACU areas.
• Preferred Qualifications: BSN degree; 3+ years PACU experience.
• Skills: PACU or ICU trained; proficiency in critical care, telemetry, and post-anesthesia recovery procedures.
• Additional Information: Experience in critical care, pre-operative, and recovery/PACU environments is essential. Telemetry certification is required. The candidate must possess strong recent critical care background, with experience in an acute hospital setting.
