Job Summary:
Long Term Care Registered Nurse in Lewiston, Maine. The position involves partnering with residents and care teams to provide a safe and comfortable environment through direct and indirect patient care. The units include a specialized unit for residents with Alzheimers/dementia, a short-term rehabilitation unit, and a long-term care unit, each requiring tailored care approaches. The RN will collaborate with other care providers and may provide float coverage to support various units as needed.

Job Details:

• Shift: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Associates in Nursing, valid State of Maine or compact RN license, 0 years of experience required, strong teamwork and communication skills, ability to work flexibility within a 24/7 environment, and proficiency in medical terminology preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: 1-3 years previous RN experience preferred.
• Additional Information: Candidates with licensure hits will not be considered. Up to 16 hours of orientation is unpaid. Candidate must reside outside of a 50-mile radius of the facility. The organization reserves the right to cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract.
