Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit Burn (ICU Burn) registered nurses are sought for a rotating day/night shift in Boston, Massachusetts. This role involves providing specialized care to adult complex surgical patients, including burns and acutely ill medical patients, within a facility that operates with a closed ICU model supported by advanced multidisciplinary teams. The position offers a dynamic environment requiring adaptable and experienced critical care professionals.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Rotating day/night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Current licensure as a registered nurse, Bachelor of Science in Nursing or higher degree, at least 2 years of ICU experience, 1 year of travel nursing experience, valid certifications in BLS and ACLS, and Massachusetts nursing license or eligibility
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in adult ICU settings, familiarity with burn care protocols, additional certifications such as TNCC or ENPC are a plus
- Additional Information: The nurse will care for adult patients with complex surgical and medical conditions, supported by an in-house team of APPs and attending physicians. The facility operates a multispecialty care team model, providing a collaborative environment focused on critically ill patients.
