Description
Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit Burn (ICU Burn) specialist position located at a healthcare facility. This role involves providing critical care to adult complex surgical and medical patients, including those with burn injuries, within a closed ICU model. The position requires working in a rotating day/night schedule, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care in a multidisciplinary environment.
Job Details
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, rotating days and nights, with minimum 36 hours per week. Shifts include weekends and holidays.
- Required Qualifications: Valid license or certification, minimum of 2 years of ICU burn experience, at least 1 year of travel experience, and applicable credentials.
- Preferred Qualifications: Not specified.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The unit primarily manages adult complex surgical patients, including burns and acutely ill medical patients. The ICU operates with a closed model, with primary care provided by advanced practice providers supervised by attending ICU physicians, supported by surgical teams and specialists. The role involves adherence to hospital and ICU protocols, including SOPs, and may include participation in clinical or operational activities relevant to critical care delivery.
