Job Summary:
This is a Surgical Technician (Operating Room Technician) position located in Austell, Georgia. The role involves supporting surgical teams by preparing the operating room, handling surgical instruments, and assisting during procedures. The position requires a detail-oriented and adaptable individual capable of functioning effectively in stressful and emergency situations.

Job Details:

• Shift: Evenings, Monday through Friday from 2:45 PM to 11:15 PM, with call hours.
• Schedule: Evenings, 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated. Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Red Cross or equivalent, along with relevant surgical technician certifications (e.g., CST, TS-C(NCCT), CSFA, CSA). Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently. Requires strong customer service and interpersonal skills, the ability to collaborate with healthcare providers, delegate tasks, and handle multiple priorities. Knowledge of surgical procedures and basic computer skills are necessary. Ability to function in stressful and emergency situations, think critically, and adapt quickly is essential.
• Additional Information: This position involves supporting surgical teams, assisting with procedures, and maintaining a sterile environment. The role may include call hours beyond the scheduled shift.
