Job Summary:
Psychiatric Unit Nurse - Seattle, WA. This role involves providing behavioral health care for adult patients in a specialized inpatient treatment setting. The ideal candidate will have experience working in involuntary or inpatient behavioral health facilities and be capable of managing clinical responsibilities independently during night shifts.

Job Details:

• Shift: Nights, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year of similar experience in involuntary/inpatient treatment facilities; de-escalation certification (Crisis Prevention Institute or MOAB); Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; behavioral health experience; ability to transfer medical evaluations and needs to hospital settings; capable of assuming charge duties; located in or willing to work in Seattle, WA
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with adult behavioral health patients aged 18 and above; experience working across multiple floors or units; proficiency with electronic medical records, specifically EPIC; flexible with scrubs in any color and able to work night shifts
• Additional Information: Position involves caring for adult behavioral health patients in a facility with a total of 70 beds across two units (second and third floors). Candidates should be prepared to work in a fast-paced environment and be comfortable with clinical responsibilities including patient transfers and medical evaluations.
