Description

Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology (IR) specialty position located in York, Pennsylvania. This role involves working in a clinical environment focused on interventional radiology procedures, with a particular emphasis on cath lab and IR experience. The position requires scheduling for days, primarily involving 10-hour shifts, and offers opportunities for on-call, weekend, and holiday coverage.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 10-hour days, typically from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with on-call responsibilities to cover off-shift, weekends, and holidays as needed, including a 30-minute response time.
  • Required Qualifications: Certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS), minimum of 2 years of interventional radiology experience, and at least 1 year of general clinical experience.
  • Additional Qualifications: Experience with interventional radiology procedures such as angioplasty, carotid stenting, and vascular closure systems; proficiency with radiation and laser safety; familiarity with sheaths, pressure ulcer assessment, and dysrhythmia management.
  • Clinical Experience: Previous cath lab and IR experience required; ability to care for COVID-19 patients; experience with charting systems (EPIC preferred).
  • Licensing and Certifications: No specific license hits accepted; candidates must hold a Pennsylvania license if applicable. Certifications must include AHA or ARC standards.
  • Special Requirements: Local radius of 50 miles; RTO (reasons to leave) minimized to 7 days; proficiency in EPIC charting preferred; candidates must complete and pass an EKG exam within 72 hours if applicable.
  • Additional notes: Candidate will be reviewed clinically to ensure fit before final approval; some procedures and support for mammography, pharmacy, and specific protocols may be involved.
