Description

Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Open Heart specialty role in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This position involves working in a high-acuity Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) environment with a focus on complex open-heart and vascular procedures. The role requires confidence and current experience in heart and vascular surgery, supporting a dynamic team in a fast-paced, mission-driven setting.

Job Details:

  • Shift: Days, 10 hours per shift
  • Schedule: Working a minimum of 40 hours per week, starting on 08/31/2026
  • Required Qualifications: 1 year of relevant experience, valid NBSTSA or NCCT certification, Oklahoma (OK) license in hand or approved Allied license if applicable, and the ability to work 1-2 weekends/month and 1-2 weekdays per week.
  • Skills: Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm repair, Aseptic Technique, Atherectomy, Atrial Septal defect repair, Cardiomyoplasty, Cardiothoracic robotic surgery, Carotid Endarterectomy, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), CVOR, Endovascular Aneurysm Repair, Endovascular Aortic Repair (EVAR), Femoral popliteal bypass graft, Laparoscopic assisted cases, Laparoscopic Cardiac Surgery, Lung resection- Thoracotomy, Mitral valve replacement, Pediatric CVOR, Pericardial window, Sterilization/Disinfection, Teaching Hospital, TEVAR (Thoracic Endovascular Aortic Repair), Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), VATS (Video-Assisted Thoracic Surgery), Vein stripping, Ventricular Assist Device (VAD), Impella, Robotic hearts and lungs.
  • Unit Details: Staffed with 3 rooms, daily case volume approximately 6, with interdisciplinary support and specialized procedures including open hearts, vascular, robotic surgeries, and ECMO.
  • Travel & Licensing: Valid OK or Compact RN license required at the time of submission; local radius is 75 miles, with floating expected to similar units within scope as needed.
