Description
Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse position available in Springfield, Oregon. This role involves providing high-quality surgical care in a Level II Trauma Center environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate well-rounded experience across multiple specialties and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting. The position starts on 08/31/2026 and involves working during daytime hours.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certified in BLS, ACLS, and PALS. No minimum experience required beyond 0 years; however, trauma experience is preferred.
- Specialty: Operating Room (OR) with expertise in surgical procedures such as laparoscopic, robotics, and trauma surgeries.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
- Travel Experience Required: Yes.
- Additional Information: Must have well-rounded experience in specialties including orthopedics, neuro, general, vascular, gynecology/urogynecology, and robotics. Candidates should be comfortable working in a Level II Trauma environment and have experience with DaVinci robotics platforms. The facility performs high acuity cases across multiple service lines, with a daily census of 70 patients and a staff of 385 beds.
- Facility Details: The facility is a non-profit, Level II trauma center with 385 beds, offering a variety of high-acuity surgical procedures and supportive equipment such as Doppler, Ultrasound, Neptune, Aquamantis, Video Systems, Lasers, and DaVinci Xi and DV5 Robots. The unit operates with a staffing model requiring up to four on-call shifts per cycle.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must be fully vaccinated, have recent Epic system experience, and possess active Washington state licensure or have submitted a license application. References from the past two years, including at least one supervisor reference, are required.
