Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor Nurse in Mattoon, Illinois. This position involves providing care on a 21-bed medical-surgical unit primarily managing patients with conditions such as heart failure and COPD. The role requires at least two years of experience in the specialty and involves a minimum of 36 hours per week with shifts of 12 hours each. The assignment is scheduled to start on August 3, 2026.

Job Details:

• Shift Schedule: Days, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid state nursing license, at least 2 years of experience in medical-surgical nursing, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification, verifiable permanent address at least 50 miles from the facility, no local candidates accepted, and coverage required for every other weekend.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience managing patients with heart failure and COPD.
