Job Summary
Medical Surgical Floor RN (Registered Nurse) This position is located in a hospital setting and involves providing competent clinical nursing care in the medical-surgical specialty. The role includes coordinating patient care, participating in education and evaluation activities, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to promote optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 48 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Nursing Diploma or ADN or ASN from an accredited school of Nursing; licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state; Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification (AHA or ARC); minimum of 2 years current Intermediate/Step Down experience; comfortable working with intermediate care patients.
• Preferred Qualifications: BSN or MSN from an accredited school of Nursing.
• Additional information: This is a FLOAT POOL position. Candidates are expected to demonstrate competence in care of patients with complex problems, including population-appropriate physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety aspects of care. The role involves performing bedside point of care testing as required, prioritizing patient needs, and participating in performance improvement activities.
