Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse in Miles City, Montana. This position involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical tasks in accordance with established practice standards. The Nurse will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate maternal and neonatal care, provide health education and counseling, and support life and well-being through therapeutic interventions. The role may include executing delegated medical functions, referring patients for further evaluation or treatment, and monitoring therapy plans within the scope of practice.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing) or equivalent from an accredited School of Nursing, valid current Registered Nurse license in Montana, BLS certification from the American Heart Association, and 2 years of nursing experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree of Nursing and certification relevant to maternal and neonatal care are preferred.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The role involves providing comprehensive care to patients in the Labor and Delivery Department, including assessment, education, therapy, and treatment plan monitoring. The position requires adherence to hospital and regulatory documentation guidelines and resource utilization.
