Description
Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical (MS) on the night shift in Butte, Montana. This position involves providing independent nursing functions and delegated medical tasks in accordance with state Board of Nursing standards. The role includes assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care, as well as patient education, therapy, and treatment support. The nurse may be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualify for on-call duties as needed.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing) from an accredited School of Nursing, current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice, BLS (American Heart Association) certification, and at least 1 year of nursing experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Nursing and certification relevant to the unit or service.
- Additional Information: The RN will execute medical functions, perform health data assessments, provide health teaching and counseling, monitor treatment plans, document clinical activities in compliance with hospital and regulatory guidelines, and utilize resources efficiently to support patient care. The position may require floating within applicable departments and being placed on-call during scheduled hours.
