Job Summary:
The profession is Registered Nurse specializing in Medical Surgical Oncology. Located in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, this role involves providing competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards in a hospital setting. The Clinical Nurse will coordinate and deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process, with a focus on oncology patients, ensuring safety, education, and effective communication as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN/ASN) from an accredited school of Nursing. Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina. Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification from AHA or ARC.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited school of Nursing.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The nurse will participate in patient assessments, care planning, point of care testing, discharge planning, patient education, and safety management. Responsibilities include interdisciplinary collaboration, participation in education programs, and ensuring compliance with healthcare standards and regulatory guidelines. Focus areas include complex problem-solving, cultural and ethnic sensitivity in care planning, and promoting cost-effective care. The start date is 08/24/2026.
