Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. This role involves providing high-quality clinical nursing care within a hospital setting, utilizing professional standards to deliver patient-centered care. The selected candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing comprehensive patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and ensuring safety and education for patients and their families.

Job Details:

• Shift Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN/ASN) from an accredited school of Nursing; licensure as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina; Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification (AHA or ARC); at least 1 year of nursing experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited school of Nursing.
• Additional Information: The role requires competence in patient assessment, care planning, complex patient care, point of care testing, and adherence to healthcare organization and nursing standards. Candidates should demonstrate skills in research application, cultural competence, task prioritization, interdisciplinary collaboration, discharge planning, and safety management.
