Job Summary:
The ICU (Intensive Care Unit) Registered Nurse position in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, involves providing competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards. Reporting and accountable to the Nurse Manager or Director, the Clinical Nurse coordinates and delivers patient care utilizing the nursing process within a hospital setting. Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift; 12-hour shifts; minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN or ASN) from an accredited school of Nursing; Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina; Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification (AHA or ARC); 1 year of nursing experience
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited school of Nursing
• Additional Information: The Clinical Nurse will assess complex patient needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams. Responsible for patient education, care coordination, and ensuring safety and quality standards. The role involves bedside point of care testing and prioritization of patient needs, with a focus on promoting a safe and supportive environment.
