Job Summary:
Telecommunications Nurse (RN) in Springfield, Missouri. This assignment involves providing patient care in a high-acuity emergency department environment. The role requires critical thinking and decisiveness, supporting a team in delivering exceptional emergency and level one trauma care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 1900-0700; Minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Current RN license (eligible for licensure in Missouri or licensed in Missouri), BLS and ACLS from American Heart Association, NIHSS (must obtain prior to start), 0+ years of experience in telemetry, emergency department, or stepdown units (Level 3, Level 4, or critical access).
• Preferred Qualifications: Trauma/pediatric experience, managing over 200 patients per day, high acuity background.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care, evaluates care effectiveness, coordinates patient care with other departments, and maintains patient rights and confidentiality. Responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient cares across all age groups. Performs within the scope of nursing practice and adheres to the Missouri Nurse Practice Act, Mercy Code of Conduct, Mission, and Values. Must be able to work the entire week including night orientation, with night shift orientation on day shift.
