Description

Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a registered nurse (RN) specializing in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) located in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. This position involves providing post-anesthesia recovery care within a busy community hospital. The role offers the opportunity to work in a scenic setting known for outdoor recreation, with proximity to major cities and attractions in the region.

Job Details:

Location: Lake Havasu City, AZ
Schedule: Evening shifts, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
Start Date: 08/03/2026
Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), at least 2 years of experience in critical care PACU, ICU or cath lab preferred, travel experience is a plus
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in cath lab recovery and travel nursing background preferred
Patient Population: Geriatric, Adult
Unit Information:
- Bed Count: 12
- Patient Ratios: 2:1 or 4:1 depending on care area
- Equipment: Electronic Health Record system - Medhost
Call Requirements: Approximate call 5-6 days per month, including one weekend day and one Friday, based on a rotation
Additional Notes: Must have experience in PACU, ICU, or Cath Lab. Float within ACU and PACU (Pre-op phase I and phase II) required. Uniform dress code is navy blue scrubs (facility provided).
