Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Surgical Technician specializing in Operating Room Technology in Lebanon, New Hampshire. This position involves collaboratively supporting surgical teams in a small critical access hospital setting, with a focus on obstetric and gynecologic procedures. The role requires adherence to sterile techniques, procedural setup, and patient safety protocols in a dynamic environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating Day/Night shift (12 hours) with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: 1 year of relevant experience required; no additional specific certification or educational prerequisites specified.
• Responsibilities include organizing and preparing surgical instruments, maintaining sterile fields, assisting with specimen care, supporting equipment functionality, and participating in patient positioning and preparation for procedures.
• Knowledge of obstetric and gynecologic surgeries such as Cesarean sections, hysterectomies, and episiotomy procedures preferred.
• Experience with surgical asepsis, instrument handling, and operating room protocols necessary.
• The technician is expected to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to procedures, maintain sterile instrument tables, and follow departmental standards for sterilization and equipment checks.
• The role may involve light call schedule for emergent cases post-training, with no trauma call at this facility.
