Description
Job Summary:
Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) Hyannis, Massachusetts. This role involves providing skilled nursing, supportive care, and pain and symptom management to maximize comfort and quality of life for hospice patients and their families. The hospice RN will care for patients in both home and facility settings, participating in interdisciplinary team conferences and ensuring adherence to hospice care standards.
Job Details:
- Location: Hyannis, Massachusetts
- Schedule: Rotating shift; 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license in Massachusetts; two (2) years of hospice RN case management experience; current certification in IV therapy; proficiency in computer skills; BSN (preferred)
- Preferred Qualifications: Hospice home care experience
- Additional Information: Travelers will be required to travel to patients' homes across the entire Cape; across the bridge and as far east as the Yarmouth, Harwich, or Orleans area. The position involves participating in interdisciplinary patient case conferences, assessing patient conditions, managing time efficiently, and documenting care appropriately. The RN will support orienting new staff as needed and assume additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
