Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (RN) Omaha, Nebraska. This position involves providing specialized neuro interventional radiology care within an acute care setting. Job Details

  • Location: Omaha, Nebraska
  • Position Description: The facility is seeking a Neuro Interventional Radiology RN with experience in neuro procedures or the ability to train for this specialty. The role involves working on a 4-10 schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with call responsibilities between 10-14 days per month.
  • Schedule: 10-hour day shifts, four days per week, totaling 40 hours guaranteed.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; ACLS and BLS certifications; minimum of 2 years of experience in a related clinical setting; current Driver's license, which will be used to assess distance from the facility; ability to pass a pass/fail skills exam during orientation; artificial nails are prohibited in all patient care areas.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Neuro or Interventional Radiology experience; Sedation experience for neuro procedures.
  • Additional Information: The candidate must adhere to fingernail policies prohibiting artificial nails. The hospital operates a patient charting system using EPIC. Cancellation policy allows up to four shifts to be canceled within a 13-week assignment. The facility is a Level I Trauma Center. The RN will be involved in acute care delivery, following SOPs and safety protocols.
