Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse Specialist in a healthcare facility. This position involves providing specialized perioperative nursing care in neuro and orthopedic surgical procedures, often involving robotic assistance. The role requires versatility and recent experience in the specialty, with a focus on supporting complex cases within a fast-paced environment.

Job Details

Certifications and Education Requirements: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
Location Requirements: No local candidates within 50 miles of the facility.
Years of Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent operating room experience within the specialty.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, from 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
Additional Responsibilities: Must work 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve).
Skills and Expertise: Proven expertise in neuro and orthopedic surgeries, with occasional robotic case experience preferred. The candidate must be versatile, capable of managing a variety of complex cases.
Certifications: Must have knowledge of Cerner electronic medical records.
