Description

Job Summary:
This outpatient infusion registered nurse position is located in Utica, New York. The role involves providing infusion therapy services to adult and geriatric patients in an outpatient setting. The nurse will work five days a week with shift hours from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, supporting a fast-paced clinical environment that includes blood product administration and chemotherapy treatments.

Job Details:

Position: Staff Registered Nurse (RN) in Outpatient Infusion Unit
Schedule: Days, 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week
Start Date: 08/31/2026
Location: 111 Hospital Drive, Utica, NY 13502, United States
Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, Chemotherapy Certification
Experience: Minimum of 1 year in outpatient infusion as an HCP specializing in infusion therapy
Patient Age Group: Adult, Geriatric
Common Diagnoses: Oncology, neurological conditions, anemia, gastrointestinal issues, among others
Technology Used: EPIC Electronic Medical Record System, Omnicell medication dispensers, Ascom communication devices, glucometers
Common Equipment: Alaris pumps and elastomeric infusion pumps
Floating Requirements: Float rotation may be required due to staffing needs
Responsibilities: Blood product administration, ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
