Job Summary:
The Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Registered Nurse position is located in Mesa, Arizona. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for pediatric patients in a critical care setting. The nurse will utilize specialized knowledge and clinical skills to deliver high-quality care for patients in the PICU environment, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shift (12-hour shifts), minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid registered nurse (RN) license in the state of practice, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and ability to work in the United States.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in nursing and relevant pediatric or critical care certification.
- Additional Information: The role requires providing comprehensive pediatric critical care, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, documenting assessments and interventions, and participating in unit quality improvement activities. Candidates must maintain clinical performance competencies and adhere to all regulatory standards.
