Description
Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse is needed in Santa Rosa, California. This role involves providing specialized perioperative patient care within the surgical setting. The selected candidate will support trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic procedures, with the possibility of covering one night shift as needed.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum 48 hours per week, starting on 09/21/2026.
- Required Qualifications: 3 years of operating room experience, California license in hand, BLS certification, experience with trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic procedures, and proficiency with Epic charting system.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with complex surgical cases and ability to float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information:
- Shift coverage may include one night shift within the contractual period.
- Must be willing to work 2 out of the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year.
- Travelers may be asked to float between sister facilities. Refusal to float may impact assignment continuation.
- Candidate must include RTO restrictions at submission and provide 2 references covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years.
- Must submit a copy of certifications and experience in EPIC charting.
- Housing options in the area should be explored by the traveler as options may be limited.
