Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position in Rochester, New York. The role involves providing specialized care to neonatal patients in a Level 2 NICU setting, with responsibilities including baby catch procedures for cesarean sections. The position requires flexibility to float to Postpartum units and involves rotating weekend shifts. The contract duration is 13 weeks, with potential for extension.

Job Details:

• Shift: Nights, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Schedule: Nights, 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid New York state license in hand, minimum of 1 year of experience in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, EPIC charting experience, and at least 1 year of background policy review.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with baby catch procedures, ability to float to Postpartum, and familiarity with modules recording.
• Float: Candidates will float; float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Candidates must be more than 75 miles from the facility as local candidates are not accepted. All candidates must meet the requirement of at least 1 year of experience in NICU and hold a valid NY license prior to submission. Modules are billable for up to 5 hours with a total of 10 hours permissible; any additional time is non-billable.
