Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Weatherford, Texas. This role involves providing critical nursing care in a high-volume emergency department setting. The RN will be responsible for managing patient care, performing standard emergency procedures, and ensuring efficient workflow to support department operations.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with an expectation of at least 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Texas RN license, minimum two years of emergency room nursing experience, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) or ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course), TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certification.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Meditech documentation system is highly desirable.
• Additional Information:
  • Unit with 23 beds, patient ratio of 4:1.
  • The department handles Level IV trauma, primary stroke center activities, chest pain with PCI accreditation, and STEMI protocols available 24/7.
  • Equipment includes standard emergency department tools and documentation systems.
  • Dress code emphasizes royal blue scrubs, with grooming standards for hair, tattoos, piercings, and footwear.
  • Floating policy indicates assigned staff may be required to float to other units as needed.
