Description
Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Oncology Floor Nurse in Raleigh, North Carolina. This position involves providing competent clinical nursing care in an outpatient infusion setting, primarily focusing on chemotherapy and immunotherapy administration. The role requires coordination with the interdisciplinary team to meet patient needs and promote positive outcomes.
Job Details:
- Schedule: M-F 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN/ASN) from an accredited school; licensure as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina; Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification (AHA or ARC); minimum of 2 years outpatient infusion experience in chemotherapy and immunotherapy.
- Preferred Qualifications: Baccalaureate (BSN) or Masters (MSN) degree from an accredited school of Nursing.
- Skills: Nursing, Patient Care, Patient Education, Patient Assessment, Care Planning, Interdisciplinary Collaboration, Point of Care Testing, Healthcare Standards, Communication Systems.
- Additional Information: The candidate must have at least 2 years of experience in outpatient chemotherapy/immunotherapy infusion. The position is dedicated to outpatient infusion services, with a focus on treatment for oncology patients.
