Job Summary:
An ICU (Intensive Care Unit) Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in Rancho Cordova, California. The role involves facilitating transfers and performing patient assessments within a clinical environment. The position requires the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and work with hospital systems from various locations.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, at least 2 years of ICU, Emergency Department (ED), or transfer center experience, acute care experience, critical care assessment skills, proficiency in computer applications (Cerner, TeleTracking, Google apps), professional demeanor, strong clinical judgment, ability to multitask, good customer service skills, and willing to work any day of the week, including every other weekend and holidays.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Cerner or EPIC electronic medical record systems
• Additional Information:
  • Candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in ICU or related areas.
  • Must complete the DYS exam through UNA/Relias within 24-48 hours prior to signing the contract, with documentation of attempts.
  • Candidates must provide a valid copy of their drivers license to confirm legal name.
  • Clinicians are expected to be able to take an online typing test to demonstrate typing skills.
  • The role involves coordinating patient transfers, working with hospitals across various locations, and managing bed and staffing requests through electronic systems.
  • Shift start date is 08/04/2026.
