Job Summary:
The House Supervisor is a registered nurse specializing in hospital leadership and operational coordination in a healthcare setting in Bozeman, Montana. This position involves overseeing patient care coordination, managing staff, and ensuring safety and quality standards across the hospital. The role requires providing clinical and operational leadership during various hospital activities, including emergency response, patient throughput, and staff supervision.
Job Details:
- Shift Hours: 12 hours shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting from 08/24/2026.
- Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing; equivalent combination of education and experience considered; Montana Registered Nurse (RN) licensure; American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification; American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification; National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification; five (5) years acute care nursing with varied experience; two (2) hours of verifiable trauma-related education annually; six (6) hours stroke training annually, NIHSS will count for three (3) hours.
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous supervisory or management experience; critical care or emergency department experience; Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC).
- Additional Information: The position involves coordinating patient care across various hospital departments, acting as a liaison for staff, patients, families, providers, and law enforcement when appropriate. The role includes managing staffing needs, responding to escalated concerns, activating medical staff chain of command, and ensuring compliance with hospital policies. The position may require working beyond standard hours, including weekends and after-hours, with potential on-call duties to respond promptly to organizational needs. Facility reserves the right to cancel three shifts per 13-week contract in the event of low census or other unforeseen circumstances. Candidates must reside at least 90 miles away from the facility to be considered.
