Job Summary:
Certified Operating Room Technologist (ORT CERT) in Portland, Maine. This position involves providing specialized support within the operating room for a busy surgical department. The role requires technical expertise and the ability to adapt within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Job Details:
- Location: 22 Bramhall Street, Portland, ME 04102
- Shift: Nights, 12 hours per shift
- Schedule: No specific schedule details provided besides shift hours.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications (CST required), education modules, minimum of 2 years of experience plus travel experience, must be flexible, accountable, timely, and a team player.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with general surgery, gynecology/obstetrics, orthopedic trauma, neurosurgery, ENT, pediatrics, plastics, dental, and endovascular procedures.
- Patient Care: Support any of the operating room patient types, adhering to sterile techniques and safety protocols.
- Equipment: Use of Storz, Stryker, Olympus, and Intuitive Robot.
- Other Information: No dress code restrictions beyond teal scrubs issued from the hospital; personality fit includes being flexible, accountable, timely, and a team player. The position is for coverage due to leave, with one immediate opening.
