Job Summary
Medical Surgical Telemetry Nurse in Marshfield, Wisconsin. This acute care position involves managing patients on a telemetry unit that treats a variety of medical and surgical conditions, including abdominal surgeries, complex wounds, and general medical cases. The role requires delivering quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, with specific focus on telemetry monitoring and titrating drips such as Heparin and insulin.

Job Details

• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts with every other weekend and holiday availability, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: BLS (AHA) certification; at least 1 year of nursing experience; Wisconsin state nursing license; local candidates living within 80 miles of the facility.
• Preferred Qualifications: ACLS certification, Intermediate Care background, experience with IVs, drains, ostomies, wound Vacs, NG tubes, Foley catheters, Electronic Health Record systems, and titrating drips including Heparin, insulin, diltiazem, amiodarone, nitro.
• Float: Float on a rotation to other medical/surgical units if the unit is overstaffed.
• Additional Information: The unit participates in the AUTO OFFER processclinicians should submit to MedSol Clinical for interviews. Clinicians with previous employment at the facility must have their last stay completed at least six months prior to application. Orientation includes 12 hours of computer training and 12 hours of shadowing. Scrubs of any color are acceptable. No call duties are required.
