Description
Job Summary:
The Intensive Care Unit Surgical specialty is located in Boston. This position involves working in an 8-bed SICU caring for a variety of surgical patients, including transplant, hepatobiliary, and general surgery. The role requires adapting to a rotating 12-hour shift schedule with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per day, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid CPR certification from the American Heart Association, ACLS certification, 2-3 years of related work experience, experience in SICU and trauma or Level 1 Trauma experience, and Epic electronic health record experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: BILH coversheet required at time of submission. Start date: August 24, 2026, with assignments typically starting within 4 weeks for compliance. Orientation occurs weekly (every Monday barring a holiday). The facility employs a day/night rotating schedule, sharing shifts equally between days and nights, and every other weekend. All candidates must provide availability for interview at submission and present RTO (time off) requests at the time of application. Local travelers residing within 50 miles are not accepted. Parking can cost up to $43 per day.
