Description

Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Department professional position in ISSAQUAH, Washington. This role involves providing specialized care for expectant mothers during labor, delivery, and postpartum. The position requires a dedicated healthcare professional to follow facility procedures and ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 48 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Certifications including BLS (Basic Life Support), FHM (Fetal Heart Monitoring), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), AWHONN Intermediate, with ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) preferred. Two years of experience in labor and delivery, including experience with labor rooms, triage, OB-GYN, postpartum, and NICU based on skill set. Valid compact license in hand at submission and local within 50 miles.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in high-risk deliveries, GYN surgeries, use of electronic fetal monitoring, and specialized procedures such as blood product administration, cardioversion, wound vac, and epidural management.
  • Additional Information: Candidates should be comfortable attending all deliveries, including high-risk cases, and working within a team environment. Flexibility to float between related units such as postpartum and NICU as needed. Must be able to work scheduled holidays and adhere to scheduling requests submitted upfront. Candidates will be expected to participate in patient care activities involving sterile procedures, medication administration, and patient education, based on facility protocols.
