Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Department (L&D) professional needed for a position in a healthcare facility. The assignment involves working night shifts at a facility known for a supportive and collaborative environment. The role emphasizes delivering high-quality obstetric care, managing high-risk and low-risk deliveries, and utilizing advanced equipment and procedures in a structured setting.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 12 hours shift, minimum of 48 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Two years of experience, active compact state license, certifications including BLS, FHM, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, and preferred ACLS
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic electronic health record system, labor/delivery nursing experience in a community hospital setting, and willingness to float to related units as needed
• Float: Yes, post-partum and possibly labor & delivery at designated facilities based on skill set
• Additional Information: Candidates should have experience with administration of blood and blood products, cardioversion/defibrillation, epidural and PCA pumps, wound vac, anesthesia and medication administration, high-risk delivery assistance, and use of specialized equipment such as intrauterine pressure catheter and central line maintenance. Responsibilities include attending all deliveries, managing high-risk obstetrics, and participating in patient-specific procedures and care protocols.
