Job Summary
The organization is seeking a qualified Intensive Care Unit (ICU) nurse for a day shift position at a healthcare facility in Franklin, Wisconsin. This role involves providing advanced patient care on acuity adaptable units that are not pure Intensive Care Units but require specialized critical care skills. The ICU nurse will be responsible for managing post-cath patients, critical therapies such as continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), and operating advanced equipment, including balloon pumps and Swan-Ganz catheters. The position may require floating within the skill set or to nearby sites within a 40-mile radius as needed.

Job Details

• Location: Franklin, Wisconsin
• Schedule: Days; 12-hour shifts; minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; 2 years nursing experience including ICU experience with post-cath care, CRRT, balloon pump and Swan-Ganz catheter experience; competency in sheath pulls, PA catheters; experience with electronic medical records system (EPIC); ACLS and BLS certifications; may require floating within skill set or to sites within 40 miles
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior travel nursing experience
• Additional Information: The unit is acuity adaptable and not a traditional ICU, requiring adaptability and critical care expertise. Flexibility in floating within skill areas or to nearby sites may be necessary.
