Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nursing position located in Wausau, Wisconsin. This role involves providing direct patient care in a trauma level II emergency department. The position requires adaptability to a rotating 12-hour shift schedule, including day and evening shifts, with exposure to a fast-paced environment serving a diverse patient population.

Job Details:

• Shift Schedule: Rotating 12-hour shifts, including day and evening rotations between 0500-1700, 0900-2100, 1000-2200, and 1100-2300.
• Schedule: 36 hours per week, with potential for on-call duties during low census periods.
• Required Qualifications: Wisconsin Registered Nurse license; BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association; at least 2 years of clinical experience, including trauma Level II experience; prior charting experience utilizing EPIC; minimum one year of experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• Additional Information: The unit is a trauma level II, 18-bed environment equipped for stroke, cardiac, neuro, pediatrics, geriatrics, and respiratory cases. Responsibilities include drawing labs, administering nebulizers, and medication management with in-house X-ray and RT staff. Candidates should demonstrate resilience, the ability to manage change and work independently in a high-pressure setting.
