Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse - Bemidji, Minnesota. This position involves providing high-quality emergency care in a 15-bed adult Emergency Department with a fast track area. The RN will be responsible for implementing the nursing process, assessing patient needs, diagnosing, developing and executing care plans, and documenting responses to health issues. The role requires flexibility to float among units and work rotating shifts including nights, with every third weekend commitment.

Job Details:

• Location: Bemidji, Minnesota
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours, with every third weekend, rotating days and evenings, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid Minnesota state RN license, minimum of two years recent emergency room experience, BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), TNCC certification, and minimum one year experience working in an emergency department with annual visits around 28,000 or higher. Trauma level III or higher experience preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience floating to other units/departments as needed, trauma level experience.
• Clinical Responsibilities: Provide emergency care in a 15-bed ER with 4 fast track rooms and a triage area. Maintain a nurse to patient ratio of 1:3 or 1:4, and be capable of managing procedures common to emergency care.
• Additional Information: All clinicians must badge in and out at the facility. Scrub color is navy blue. Training for Epic electronic charting and Accudose medication delivery will be provided during orientation.
