Job Summary:
Operating Room Pediatric (OR PEDS) specialist is sought for a trauma Level 1 pediatric facility located in Austin, Texas. This role involves delivering direct patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures within a high-acuity environment. It requires collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and clinical excellence across multiple operating rooms.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift with a schedule of 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certification in nursing or related healthcare credential, current licensure to practice in Texas, and at least 0 years of clinical experience in surgical or pediatric care.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working within a trauma Level 1 pediatric facility and familiarity with Cerner Charting System.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The position involves providing circulating and scrub nurse support, maintaining sterile technique, preparing instruments, and assisting surgeons to promote procedural efficiency and patient safety. The unit features 14 operating rooms and 2 procedure rooms, serving as a trauma Level 1 pediatric facility.
